If I wanted to teach someone who didn’t speak English to do a hand stand it would be difficult and time consuming.. but if they understood my language it would take seconds to explain.

Make sure your horse knows what you’re talking about before you ask him to do stuff !

Don’t mix your words, don’t have the same cue for two different things..
you wouldn’t do it to a human.
(Well hold on .. I might change that last bit… people Mix their words often but usually only because they’re avoiding something.)
So anyway .. just don’t do it to your horse.
Teach him the language you’re going to use and stick to it.
